Faith in God: In Genesis 15 we can read the faith-building account of Abram's faith in God! Abram was concerned about the heir for God's future promise. Listen to God's reply, v. 4, "This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir." V. 6, "And he (Abram) believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness." So many times Abram simply believed God, after He would tell him something. Many more times in Genesis, Abram's faith is put to the test. In this account Abram believed God would bring him the heir from his own body.
What about us? Do you and this writer believe God, when we read and study His Word from Genesis to Revelation? When God speaks in His still, small voice, do you and I react and respond? God loves you! God loves obedient people! Faith in God is just about missing in our nation. We must as a nation get back to believing in God , as Abram did!
